Palo Santo is a highly aromatic tree that grows on the coast of South America and is closely related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal. The Spanish name means “Holy Wood”.

Palo Santo is found to be rich in limonene and therefore an effective antimicrobial, capable of fighting bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungus, and yeast. Limonene is currently being studied for its anti-carcinogenic effects, which would make Palo Santo an invaluable complementary tool in anticancer protocols.

These Palo Santo sticks are wild-harvested in Peru. Simply light the end of a piece of Palo Santo, let it burn for 10-15 seconds, gently blow out the flame, and allow the smoke that trails from the smoldering wood to fill the room.  The smoke can also be used as a repellent to keep mosquitoes, ants and other insects at bay.  Bundles contain four sticks.

Burn on fire safe surface or dish. Do not leave unattended.
