This quilt vest was made using a vintage quilt sourced from Minnesota, handcrafted the early 1900s. This vest is light to medium weight.The pattern created for this vest has been designed to fit a variety of bodies. The sizing is boxy and accommodating to many body types. Size shown in video is XS for reference.
A piece of history, likely around 100 years old. You will see signs of wear, and likely see small tears and stains, which is totally normal. Take proper care and be gentle - mending as needed.
Deep clean about once a year by soaking in cool water with a gentle or plant based soap - preferably unscented. Gently agitate - then lay flat in the sun to dry and disinfect.
